After:  North Berkeley Bungalow given a sweeter treatment and shows off its great front window  - with sage green stucco, warm white trim and deep purple sashes. The house is more connected to the garden, and a lucky red door welcomes with a pop.

 BEFORE:

This San Francisco Victorian was fading into the fog with its outdated gray and mauve tones.  It was time to repaint, and also to reconsider the overly ordinary look.

AFTER:  Handsome in deep olive with rich almond trim, this beautiful structure now comes alive with presence.   Blue accents are a pleasing modern counterpoint , and a nice surprise addition in the soffits.   Plaster relief pieces were added and gilded along with a few other elements to give a stately finish.

In a recent update, the same house goes in a different direction - a new palette of maritime blues brings lighthearted freshness while maintaining the structure's crisp elegance .

 

 


 

Oakland bungalow before and after:

Faded yellow and white are replaced with an infusion of beautiful blue. The trim is kept crisp with a touch of grey, complemented with a snappy orange door.
