Traditional, rancher, bungalow or Victorian---the look of your home is greatly influenced by the color scheme.   So is how you feel coming home to it!

This San Francisco Victorian was fading into the fog with its outdated gray and mauve tones.  When it was time to repaint, it was also time to reconsider the overly ordinary look.

The refreshed palette uses rich colors to give a defined and handsome presence to the facade.  A medium-value buff outlines the house without trimming the corners too sharply, and enhances the warmth of the deep eucalyptus green on the body.

Before, the structure had a narrow appearance from the front, with fairly simple detailing.
The color palette is applied in a way that enhances the layered  detail of the house, while adding volume to the overall shape for balance and increased importance.  Even though a dark body color is used, the finished impression is that the house is larger and more gracious.

The group of condominium owners in San Francisco wanted to come home
to a more interesting, updated building.   This dark steely blue with rich brown sets off the design and the silver of the windows, stands out from the neighboring structure while not clashing,  and crates a more polished, handsome facade to complement the nice dwellings inside.
